6 amazing Star Wars games are returning to Xbox One

 LATEST NEWS

The Star Wars Gaming Network (SWGN) normally focuses on Star Wars Battlefront II (SWBFII) and news surrounding it. Every now and then, we come across Star Wars gaming news that is too good to pass up. This is was clearly the case yesterday when we first heard the news about a slew of classic Star Wars games.

Players who grew up with Lucasfilm, Pandemic, and Bioware classic games can rejoice. Microsoft announced compatibility support for a number of different games including Star Wars Classic. Continuing a legacy of great Star Wars games

This is not the first time that classic Star Wars games get resurrected. It was only late last year when Petroglyph re-enabled multiplayer support for Star Wars: Empire at War. In addition, Disney also enabled released patches for the original Star Wars Battlefront II developed by Pandemic.

As Star Wars gamers we’re thrilled that these games continue to get support. Many of us grew up with them and have very fond memories playing them. Maybe it’s the ever-lasting allure of Star Wars games that continue to fascinate people decades after they came out. Regardless of the reason, we could always do another round of Star Wars Republic Commando or Star Wars Battlefront II.
