DICE continues to ask for fan feedback for Star Wars Battlefront II (SWBFII) as they have repeatedly done in the past. This week, they’re focusing on trooper classes and are asking for general feedback. As usual, Electronic Arts’ Global community manager, Ben Walke, posted across multiple sources asking the question.
DICE asks for your feedback for all trooper classes
Ben posted the following message on Reddit:
We’d like to talk about everything Trooper related, so here’s your chance to speak your mind and give us some feedback.
What do you like about them, what don’t you like, who do you think is under or over powered, what about their weapons?
A lot of topics in this one so looking forward what you have to say. Let us know your thoughts below, your feedback is important and does help shape the game.

Initial thoughts on the troopers
There are certainly a lot of areas that we can touch upon. There seems to be a group of fans who think that the officer class is overpowered in terms of Battle Points gain. We’re not sure if this is going to lead DICE to adjust officer gains but it’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out. It’s not going to be the first time that the studio has tweaked the officer class.
Another area that is certainly worth a second look is star cards across all classes. Most of us tend to use a specific set of cards for many different situations. At the same time, there is a big number of star cards that we never see in the game. This could mean a lot of different things. It could mean that star cards don’t offer any significant value for players to use them. Another possibility is that players are not using the star cards properly. Regardless what the rationale might be, DICE should certainly take a closer look at this area.
More customization options would be more desirable for all trooper classes. We think that it’s a matter of time before we get more skins for troopers. Over the past months, we have seen a number of different customizations leaking but none of them made it to the game. Regardless of when they come, we think it’s just a matter of time before they make their appearance.
It’s going to be interesting to see how DICE will take that feedback and implement it. Feedback sessions tend to repeat weekly so DICE is certainly looking for more player ideas. Keep them coming!
